The word D2S stands for Discharge second generation shielded。 They are commonly used in cars that have projector lenses。 The output of these D2S bulbs depends on their temperature rating。 The higher is the rating of the bulb, the lower will be the light output。 The 5000K and 6000K are very popular among the Xenon lights enthusiasts。 While the 5000K produces a brilliant white light, the 6000K emits white light with a bluish hue。 Such a hue is perfect for driving at night since they emit light which is very close to natural daylight。
